Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull announced today that he is backing City Councilor Paul Wymer to serve as the next Mayor of Rio Rancho.
Paul Wymer has given twelve years of steady, hands-on service to the city, six years on the Planning and Zoning Commission and six years representing District 4 on the City Council. Through this work, he has shown strong commitment, clear judgment, and a solid grasp of the issues that matter to families and businesses across the community.
Councilor Wymer has played a major role in the city’s recent progress. He supported new investment from Intel Corporation, pushed for improvements to roads and water systems, and stood behind efforts that strengthened long-term economic growth.
Public safety has been another core focus of his. Paul has backed the staffing, equipment, and resources needed to keep Rio Rancho one of the safest places to live in New Mexico. His steady support for first responders and his focus on protecting residents set him apart.
“Paul Wymer has been a key partner in shaping Rio Rancho’s progress, and he’s well prepared to guide the city forward,” said Mayor Hull. “I’m proud to endorse him for Mayor of Rio Rancho.”
